Cancellation Policy

The full details for cancellations and amendments to bookings are found in the Terms & Conditions at the foot of every webpage on the website.

If you are anxious about having to cancel your booking at a late stage because of health issues or some other reason, we advise that you take out travel insurance.

 

Here is a simple version of our cancellation policy.

Once a booking has been confirmed by email from Cairns Holiday Homes, a cancellation between 90 days and up to and including the 30th day at midday prior to midday on the day of arrival will mean that your lose your deposit.

Once the full payment has been made (at least 30 days prior to arrival), a cancellation inside the last 30 days will mean loss of 100% of the full accommodation cost.

The security deposit and any other amounts paid such as cleaning fees will be refunded.

Occasionally, we are able to fill or part fill a last minute cancellation and we would then be able to return some of the accommodation cost.

Usually, we have to discount heavily to get a last minute booking, so do not expect to get a full return. 

In all cases where a refund is made, the commission for the booking due to Cairns Holiday Homes will be deducted from the refund.
