Kewarra Beach

One of our favourite spots for a beach BBQ with a lovely outlook from Taylor Point to Double Island. Turn off the Captain Cook highway at the Kewarra roundabout and follow the road (Poolwood road) all the way to where it turns left into Kewarra St. Follow Kewarra St to the end where you can park in the small car park just to the right of the Kewarra Resort entrance.

The BBQ is right on the beach to the right of the beach patrol hut

Kewarra Beach Resort has a barefoot beach bar just above the high water mark on the sand. A great spot for a sundowner

Palm Cove looking back towards Kewarra. It is an easy 4km walk along the beach

The Palm Cove Pier is a great spot for fishing (Double Island is in the background)
