Harvester Home is priced for 15 guests only - there is an additional daily fee for each extra guest (2 maximum)
A private resort for a big family with 4 bedrooms in the main house and 3 in the annex, you can sleep 15 in proper beds (no bunks) and 2 more on sofa beds (for a small extra charge). The property is brilliant for children - you have a very large garden, a big swimming pool and a cubbyhouse. A very convenient location too - you can walk to Raintrees shopping centre in 5 minutes or drive to the city in 10 minutes.
If you have a young sporting team or are trying to organise a large family gathering in one place, Harvester is ideal.
Originally the home of a local farming family (after whom the street is named), the 1 acre of garden is all that remains of the large sugarcane farm that covered what is now Manoora. There is parking space for several cars.
The property is pet friendly (dogs only) with a separate dog run inside the fully fenced property.
The Annex bathroom has a wide door and open shower with no step and handrail to help guests using a wheelchair. There is also another washing-machine and dryer in addition to those in the main house.
During non school holiday periods, for groups of 8 guests or less, please put in a booking request for the 4 bedrooms of the main house. You have the run of the property except for the annex which is separate to the main house.
Please note: the upstairs of the main house is occupied by Karen, your friendly owner, who will meet you on arrival and is there to help if needed. Her apartment has a separate entrance.
Few homes in Cairns can accommodate 15 guests in proper beds (no bunks or sofa-beds). If you have a large group, don't leave it too late because this house is very popular with large groups. It is centrally situated being close to the city and the main road going to the northern beaches and on to the Cook Highway for Port Douglas and Daintree.
Harvester Home is dog friendly by arrangement (max 2 dogs).
