A hillside house filled with unusual and genuine collector's items from Asia set in a lovely Balinese style terraced garden.

The attention to detail is amazing - comfortable leather sofas, a bronze Buddha in front of a large hand-carveded mirror, a slash of orange heralds an old Japanese kimono, while an antique Indonesian rice chest serves as a coffee table. An entire wall of the kitchen opens out to a shady Balinese style gardem of gingers, bromeliads and other tropical exotics framed by tall palms and rainforest trees. Pathways wander off into the trees to explore the garden which runs over two normal house sites.

Perched on the hillside edge, a small thatched pavilion with carved posts and panels provides outdoor dining with seating for six to enjoy the view over the Barron River and on to the northern beaches beyond.

Below, on the lower pool deck, a thatched cabana shades the inviting day bed - what better place could you find to curl up with a book and a G&T to enjoy the feeling that you have indeed arrived in a tropical paradise.

Please note, this is a 2 storey house so there are steps up to the house and an internal staircase to queen bedroom 4 which opens onto the garden.
