A large 2 storey holiday home with 2 bedrooms, a living room and bathroom upstairs and the same downstairs. Upstairs also has the kitchen, a sunroom and large outdoor verandah with sea views. With the beach only 50m away, this is the beach holiday house for the large family, or 2 families or a gathering of up to 10 friends.

Holloways has 3 restaurants, including one on the beachfront, a local sporting club with bar and restaurant, a small local shopping centre with a takeaway, liquor store, newsagency, video store is 300m walk and a new IGA about 2 minutes away by car.

An easy half hour stroll down the beach to the south will bring you to the lovely old beachside haven known as Machans Beach where there is another restaurant on the foreshore. Many old Queenslander houses and a refusal to be swamped by the modern vernacular give Machans it’s distinct character. There is a good fishing spot at the southern end of Machans Beach at the mouth of the Barron River – an especially beautiful spot in the evening.

Holloways Beach is the second beach 12km north of Cairns CBD ( 20 minute by car). The nearest major shopping centre is 6km north at Smithfield.
