Bramston Beach - Location & Map

Bramston Beach is more or less in the centre of the area known as Tropical North Queensland. The rainfall is extremely high and is usually over 4m annually at Babinda. Mt Bartle Frere (1612m) and Mt Bellenden Ker (1590m) dominate the surrounding sugar cane fields and banana plantations. Rainfall records for Babinda include 48” in 24 hours and 12” in 1 hour!
