The Esplanade Lagoon, which is a huge saltwater pool is right next to the main restaurant area along the Esplanade. There are two multiscreen cinemas, a huge choice of restaurants, bars and nightclubs around the city and all the shops and art galleries. On the edge of the city area are the wonderful Flecker Botanical gardens , the Tanks Arts centre and the Rondo Theatre.
